If our marriage was not registered in Singapore or either one or both of us are not Singaporeans, can we still get a divorce in Singapore?

It is not necessary for your marriage to be registered in Singapore or for both parties to be Singaporeans.

In order to get a divorce in Singapore, the Singapore Family Court will need to have jurisdiction over the matter.

To establish jurisdiction, either party to the marriage has to domiciled in Singapore at the time of commencement of the proceedings or habitually resident in Singapore for a period of three (3) years immediately preceding the commencement of the proceedings.
